Welcome to RacketBuddies, operated by CaribouGames LLC ("we", "us", "our"). By using RacketBuddies (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

RacketBuddies is a social platform for organizing mahjong games. The Service allows users to create games, invite players, join groups, communicate with other players, and discover games in their area.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Harass, abuse, or harm other users
Send spam or unsolicited messages
Impersonate another person or entity
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
Use automated tools to scrape or collect data from the Service

5. Content

You retain ownership of content you create (messages, photos, game details). By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display, store, and transmit that content as needed to provide the Service.

6. Communications

By providing your phone number and email, you consent to receive transactional notifications related to game invitations, reminders, and account activity. You can opt out of notifications at any time through your profile settings or by replying STOP to SMS messages. Message and data rates may apply.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services including Google (authentication, contacts), Apple (authentication), and payment processors. Your use of these integrations is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by CaribouGames LLC. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We are not responsible for the conduct of users at in-person game events organized through the Service.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CaribouGames LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through your profile settings.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States.
